KNOXVILLE — Tennessee men’s athletic director Mike Hamilton on Tuesday confirmed plans to buy out the Volunteers’ scheduled football series with North Carolina. North Carolina was to host UT next year, with the Vols hosting the Tar Heels in 2012.
