08/04/10 - Retour sur Auckland et vol vers la Polynésie française
Réveil très très matinal à 5h, pliage de tente toute mouillées de rosée, puis départ sur la route vers Auckland. On s’y prend tôt car notre avion est à 14h et nous devons faire quelques achats au centre ville et rendre la voiture de location. Finalement nous arrivons à 9h à Auckland ce qui nous laisse le temps de repérer l’agence de l’aéroport, puis de faire tout ce que nous avions prévu même le temps de manger à Mac Do de l’aéroport après avoir enregistrer nos bagages! From Paris to Auckland, 24h de vol
Le temps d'aller a la porte d'embarquement, de se connecter a Internet et constater la triste defaite du Stade Rennais qu'il fallait reprendre l'avion pour Auckland. Je suis rapidement sorti dehors dans un espace fumeur pour me rendre compte du temps: Il y avait une chaleur etouffante et un atmosphere tres humide, j'y ai tenu 2 minutes... et dire que certains vont passer 3 mois a Dubai. Le remplissage pour ce vol etait encore plus faible, dans mon troisieme compartiment, on ne devait etre qu'une quinzaine de voyageurs pour 100 places! Auckland sits on a part of the world I've always wanted to see, and what better reason to finally visit, right? Well, after hours of careful research, I determined that the shortest flight time I could get from my present location was over 16 hours long, and that was if I went for one of the most expensive routes (the ones within my price range were more like 27 hours). Plus, I'd barely make it in time for the show if I left the evening of my first allowed vacation day. Travel plan = fail. Après un vol Auckland-Santiago, 4h d’attente à l’aéroport, puis un vol Santiago-Ile de Pâques nous voilà enfin arrivés! Cette journée sera la plus longue de notre voyage et probablement de notre vie. En effet, nous partons de Auckland le samedi 9 mai à 16h et arrivons (à Santiago)le même samedi 9 mai à 12h, autrement dit nous sommes arrivés avant d’être partis! Chose étrange que le décalage horaire !
