Via Maun we went to Moremi Game Reserve "Okavango Delta" we visited "south gate", "3e bridge" and "Kwai campsite" after this we went to Chobe national park "savute" and "the waterfront" after this we went to the Central Kalahari "Deception valley"and "Tau pan". Safari in the Moremi Wildlife Reserve (Botswana)

voir la vidéoMoremi Game Reserve is a National Park in Botswana. It rests on the western side of the Okavango Delta and was named after Chief Moremi of the BaTawana tribe. Moremi was designated as a Game Reserve and not a National Park since when it was designated, the BaSarwa or Bushmen that lived there were supposed to be allowed to stay in the reserve. Lioness in Moremi game reserve. In the 1960s, the government changed its mind and burned the Bushmen village and forced the villagers to move outside the park. They relocated on the other side of the Khwai River and named their new village Khwai. Within the village there is still a strong distrust towards the national government as there has been talk about moving the village once again. Moremi is a beautiful national park to visit. You can see lions, giraffe, leopards, caracals, elephants, cheetahs, buffalo, zebras, red lechwe, African wild dogs, wildebeest, impala, Kori Bustards, Hippos, Nile Crocodiles and a variety of smaller mammals and birds. 08.1998 VALPARD FILMS valpardfilms.free.fr [ voir sur Youtube.com ]
